Police plan to question residents on a housing estate near the Carlton Commerce Centre in Southampton to discover whether the victim was killed at the scene or whether the dead body was taken there.
Detective Inspector Simon Baker said: “Firemen were dealing with a bin fire on the industrial estate when they discovered the body.
“Our officers are now pursuing many lines of inquiry.
